Information we collect
We collect identity, contact, financial, and document data you provide when creating a profile, listing a property, applying to rent, or requesting Rent Facilitation. We also collect usage data through cookies and standard server logs.
How we use your information
- To match tenants and landlords and facilitate rentals.
- To run tenant screening and credit checks when requested.
- To generate POPIA-compliant lease and surety agreements.
- To process payments through PayFast.
- To send service notifications via email and WhatsApp.
Sharing
We share data only with parties strictly necessary to deliver the service: landlords (with tenant consent), screening providers, payment processors, and law enforcement when required.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@homemaker.org.za.
